Montecristo National Park - El Trifinio

This is the first place we want to present to you. It is one of the most beautiful parks visited in our country. This beautiful cloud forest was declared a national park in 1987. It is located in the city of Metapan, Santa Ana, 117km. San Salvador.

The highest point of the park is on the hill Montecristro, 2400 m, this place is also known as"The Trifinio" that in this place borders converge countries, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador,is in this location of the cloud forest, with temperatures hovering between 6 ° and 18 °Celsius.

From the village, visitors can tour the 3 trails and if they can be accompanied by a specialized guide,the park has 3 camping areas with tables for picnic and two family cabins.
